Gagarin Street / (Гагарина)

Gagarina – looking down towards the station.

Gagarin

Google Maps uses the Haharin translation, I prefer Gagarin as it makes more sense for English speakers.

I’m assuming the street is named after Soviet astronaut Yuri Gagarin, streets are also named after him in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk.

Gagarina is important as it goes past the railway station and will thus be my first Chernivtsi street when I arrive in September of this year.

Brătianu

Ion I. C. Brătianu was the prime minister of Romania on five occasions.

Bahnhofstrasse

Station street, makes sense.
