While researching routes for the northern segment of my proposed Train Around Ukraine project I came across a cottage (dacha?) for sale in the village of Nedanchychi (Неданчичі).
Nedanchychi is a small village with a population of just over 1700 inhabitants. It’s close to the east bank of 2Dnieper river, the Chernobyl exclusion zone and the border with Belarus, so much of interest.
Anyway, the cottage is somewhere in or around the village (no exact location given) and a veritable bargain at £2,500 (98,000 грн)!
Here’s what I’d get for my money:
The cottage
The roof looks a bit iffy but that’s a mere detail, the rest is lovely.
Inside
Oh but that oven, that fire, it all looks so cozy, I can imagine baking bread and sitting back with a book and a glass of 3Horilka.
Outside
Plenty of space for some chickens and a goat4, there’s even a handy shed.
Local station
And there’s a train to Chernihiv and Kyiv, what more do you want?
