However that&#8217;s a bit of a\u00a0mouthful\u00a0so I&#8217;m leaving it alone.<\/p>\n<h2>The route<\/h2>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/embed?mid=1mopBrjzqgknJaib50WrrfTIb-Qo\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>I approached\u00a0the hike from three directions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A\u00a0<strong>coastal<\/strong> route: King&#8217;s Lynn to Lowestoft, vaguely following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.norfolk.gov.uk\/out-and-about-in-norfolk\/norfolk-trails\/short-and-circular-walks\/norfolk-coast-path\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Norfolk Coastal Path<\/a><\/li>\n<li>A\u00a0<strong>border<\/strong> route: Ely to Lowestoft following the Norfolk &#8211; Suffolk border<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>River<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Great Ouse<\/strong> route: Ely to King&#8217;s Lynn, on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ldwa.org.uk\/ldp\/members\/show_path.php?path_name=Ouse+Valley+Way\">Ouse Valley Way<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I walked different sections\u00a0of the route at different times and in different directions, depending on how I felt.<\/p>\n<p>I also managed two\u00a0wild camps along the way;
