{"id":2467,"date":"2014-04-17T12:34:36","date_gmt":"2014-04-17T12:34:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/martinblack.com\/?p=2467"},"modified":"2018-01-01T11:17:01","modified_gmt":"2018-01-01T11:17:01","slug":"the-icknield-way-path","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/martinblack.com\/oldsite\/2014\/04\/the-icknield-way-path\/","title":{"rendered":"The Icknield Way Path"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2475\" src=\"http:\/\/martinblack.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/ick-logo.png\" alt=\"Icknield Way logo\" width=\"148\" height=\"150\" \/>The\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Icknield_Way_Path\">Icknield Way Path<\/a> runs 110 miles from\u00a0\u00a0Ivinghoe Beacon in Buckinghamshire, to Knettishall Heath in Suffolk.<\/p>\n<p>Rather confusingly, the path is also a section of the longer <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Icknield_Way\">Icknield Way<\/a> that is made up of four paths, stretching from the north Norfolk coast to Wiltshire, more on all that another time.<\/p>\n<p>I had intended to walk the entire path over five or six days or so but it&#8217;s become evident that that is just not going to happen any time soon.
